Pride scarf

My friend asked me to make him a fabulous rainbow scarf. I created my own pattern, as I couldn't find anything online that I liked. Materials: 7 skeins  Mighty Stitch Bulky yarn  in the following colors: Serrano Orange Canary Alfalfa Sky Celestial Eggplant Needle: straight size 10 needle. Pattern: Note: all stitches are to be slipped purl wise Cast on 47 stitches. Row 1: Knit 3, *slip one WYIF, knit 3* repeat until end of row Row 2: Knit 1, slip 1 WYIF, *knit 3, slip one WYIF* until last 2 stitches, slip 1 WYIF Knit 84 rows (or 12") with each color. Change color at the end of a WS row After your last color, bind off, substituting a purl stitch for every slipped stitch. Abbreviations: WYIF: with yarn in front WS: wrong side

"On the Porch" blanket

Some of my sweet friends in Aniak had a baby boy this summer. I found some lovely yarn at a shop in Billings, Montana, and made them a blanket. Pattern: " On the Porch " by Fifty Four Ten Studio Needle size: 8 circular Yarn:  Cestari 2 Ply Worsted weight  in Dill, 3 skeins
